- Vine 'Katrusja Kachovskaja' - an early variety with strong growth, created by crossing Talisman and Arkadia. The berries are large to very large, weighing about 10-12 g, heart-shaped and light amber in colour. The skin is thin and the flesh is crisp and juicy with a pleasant musky flavour. The variety is highly resistant to frost and vine blight.
- Cultivation. The soil should have sufficient nutrients, especially phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and calcium. Fertilise with Cererite at the end of July. Before actual planting, only the main roots should be left on the seedling, which should be cut back to about 10-15 cm in length, the other roots should be removed completely.
- Cut the plant in two stems. The pruning itself is very important during growth, without it the vine will not bear fruit.
- Pruning takes place in the spring, in February or March, with table varieties being pruned to 6-8 eyes.
- The harvest can then be expected during September and October.
- When planting, do not forget to take into account the need for support for future vines.
- The plant is hardy.
- A common pest of the vine is the vine weevil, against which there are many products available today, both preventive and for acute use. .
