    Joy Seedless was bred by breeders John Reuben Clark and James Norman Moore at the Arkansas Agricultural Experiment Station, University of Arkansas, by crossing ARKANSAS 1919 x ARKANSAS 1908 in 1991. Joy Seedless was selected in 1994. The seedless donor was the grandparent variety Reliance.
Growth: medium and above medium
Ripening time: early-medium, in Novocherkassk ripens in the third decade of August
Type of flowering: bisexual
Grapes and berries: Medium, cylindricoconical, elongated, medium to sparse grapes. They are small in size ( 250-350 g). The berries are dark blue, elongated-oval or elongated-ovate in shape. The weight of the berries is 3-4 g, they are covered with a weak waxy coating, the skin is thin, without astringency, the flesh is fleshy The flavour is harmonious with faint fruity notes. Seedlessness category II. Sugar content 20-21 g/l, acidity 6-7 g/l. The variety is resistant to berry drop. The yield is very high. The grapes can hang on the bushes for a long time without loss of quality.
