- Crane 'Likernaja' - an interesting hybrid of crane and aronia. The variety is highly resistant to frost. It is also suitable for peripheral areas. She is self-deprecating. Mother plants are recognizable by both fruits and leaves. The brood is medium-sized (12-15 mm). The berries themselves are large, oval in shape. The skin is dark red, purple-black when fully ripe. The taste is sweet and sour, slightly bitter, but balanced. It is suitable for the production of liqueurs. We collect the fruits at the end of summer, usually from September.
- Cultivation: The crane is not too demanding on the location or the care, it only suffers from scurf in places that are too wet. A sunny location and in deep soils is ideal. They are fully frost-resistant. They are not difficult to prune, only an educational cut is enough to shape the crown, but during the next growing season we have to remove overgrown shoots.
