- Crane 'Alaja Krupnaya' - medium-growing variety. The mature tree grows to a height of 5-6 m. The variety is self-pollinating. Cultivation is simple. The variety is also suitable for adverse climatic conditions. The fruits are large, round (up to 2 cm in diameter). Forms large tassels. The fruit is red-orange in color. The taste is pleasant, sweet and sour. The fruits can be stored for 3-4 months. We collect them at the turn of August and September.
- Cultivation: The crane is not too demanding on the location or the care, it only suffers from scurf in places that are too wet. A sunny location and in deep soils is ideal. They are fully frost-resistant. They are not difficult to prune, only an educational cut is enough to shape the crown, but during the next growing season we have to remove overgrown shoots.
