- Pistacia vera 'Pontekes' is an upright growing shrub or tree, with fast growth. In our conditions, it reaches a height of 2-2.5m. This is a very good variety, with high yields. Medium-sized fruits (0.96-0.99g) have an oval shape; the shell bends unilaterally. The color of the core is green on the outside (greener than Aegina), green-white to white-green inside. The core to shell ratio is 56-57%. It blooms at the end of April.
