  • An old regional pear variety, they have small to medium fruits and blood red flesh. 
  • The ripening period is usually from the end of August to the beginning of September. 
  • They are mostly used for drying and canning, but also for direct consumption. 
  • It was rarely cultivated in the White Carpathians, for example around Vyškovec and Lopeník.
