Early hybrid of Ukrainian persimmon. The advantage is three weeks earlier ripening, smaller growth and improved fruit quality and taste compared to the Rossijanka variety. Other advantages of the variety are sweet and fragrant fruits, long shelf life and frost resistance. It is more frost-resistant than Japanese persimmon (non-hybrid), also recommended for planting outside wine-growing areas
Origin: Ukraine, breeder V.N. Derevyanka, year 2012
Variety: medium, 10-year-old tree reaches a height of 3 m, canopy is hemispherical, medium dense
Flowering time: June, this variety is self-pollinating, it bears reliably even without pollination. The variety itself is an excellent pollinator.
Fruits: flat spherical, medium-sized, average 130 - 150 g, peel orange to orange-red, flesh orange when fully ripe, sweet, fragrant and very
delicious
Harvest period: fruits usually ripen in the first decade of October, compared to other hybrid persimmons they ripen earlier
Yield: very high, better than Rosseyanka, up to 100 kg / adult tree. It bears the first fruit in the 3rd - 4th year after planting.
Storage: up to 2 months under standard conditions
Resistance to diseases: excellent, reliably resists pests and fungal diseases, no chemical protection is required
Frost resistance: -24°C, in northern areas frost protection is recommended for the first two years after planting
