- The second most popular variety in Japan. Large-fruited persimmon type PVA (Pollination Variant Astringent). The fruits cannot be eaten directly from the tree after coloring, but up to 2 weeks after harvest and stored at room temperature, when the fruits soften and lose their bitter taste.
- This variety can be grown in all wine regions.
- Height: reaches a height of 4 - 5 m
- Flowering time: June. This variety bears parthenocarpic seedless fruits, i.e. without pollination.
- Fruit: large, flat, with four sides and four shallow grooves.
- Hard, shiny, orange-red skin, yellow-orange flesh.
- Seeds not developed. It belongs to the group of varieties with bitter flesh.
- Harvest period: the fruit must remain on the tree until fully ripe.
- Usually by the end of October. Yield: up to 20 kg / adult tree
- Resistance to diseases: excellent, reliably resists pests and fungal diseases, no chemical protection is required
- Frost resistance: up to -18°C, winter protection is recommended for the first two years after planting
