- Kudrania is a fruit tree, originating from East Asia. In its homeland, it grows to a height of around 6 m. Here, it can also be grown outdoors in warm areas. When growing in our conditions, expect a height of around 3 m.
- The plant produces aromatic fruit that looks like raspberries. It has a red color and an excellent taste.
The fruits contain a large amount of antioxidants and are used in traditional medicine. - The plant is frost-resistant up to -24 °C.
- Kudrania will suit a sunny and protected habitat.
- The soil should be light, sandy, with a pH of around 7.
- The plants require little care and are tolerant of drought and low nutrient levels.
- In the first two years, it is advisable to protect the plant for the winter with e.g. non-woven fabric.
