- This plant is a hybrid of Ichang papeda and pomelo, it comes from East Asia. It forms a shrub or small tree that is often thorny.
- The grapefruit-like looking fruit can be yellow or green depending on the stage of ripeness. They are also similar in size to a grapefruit.
- The difference from the others so far found is in
- leaf: length: up to 16 cm, width: 6.5 cm
- stilettos: length: 4 cm with attached petiole, width: 3.5 cm (distinct heart)
- thorns: length: 4 cm
