  • Edible chestnut tree 'Vincent van Gogh' - a dwarf, slower growing variety, reaching a height of 1.5-3m and a width of 1.2-2m when mature.
    Annual increments are 5-10 cm.
    It is specific with its decorative, slightly twisted branches.
  • With regular cutting, it forms a nice, pyramidal crown.
  • The leaves are smaller than usual for the species, narrow, irregularly shaped, slightly toothed, in a darker, green color.
    It blooms during June and July, the flowers are green-white in color.
  • The fruit is chestnuts, the harvest of which begins in October.
  • However, the variety is cross-pollinating, it needs pollinators.
